Canadian Women in Cannabis—or CWIC (pronounced ‘quick’) is the channel that unites women (and women-identifying folk) involved in the cannabis/hemp &industry in Canada and worldwide. Advancing the acceptance of the historically feminine nature of cannabis and for the de-stigmatization of it in the spaces we live and breathe.

By creating a supportive network and providing resources tailored to women, CWIC aims to empower women to succeed and thrive in the evolving cannabis landscape.

Gender Inequality: The cannabis industry, like many others, has historically been male-dominated. CWIC was created to provide a platform for women to connect, share experiences, and promote gender equality in the industry.

Networking Opportunities: The organization seeks to foster a community where women can network, collaborate, and support one another, facilitating professional relationships and potential business opportunities.

Education and Awareness: CWIC emphasizes the importance of education regarding cannabis, its uses, and the business landscape. The organization aims to equip women with knowledge and skills to navigate the industry effectively.

Advocacy: CWIC advocates for policies that support women in cannabis and works to raise awareness about women's contributions to the industry, helping to elevate their voices in discussions about cannabis legislation and business practices.

Support and Mentorship: The organization provides resources for mentorship, helping women to find guidance from experienced professionals in the industry and encouraging the next generation of female leaders.

And we aim to do it like the bad ass women we are.
